The Red Dot Schoolレッドドットスクール

Material partner.

Lend or give us the physical things a studio needs to run: materials, tools, a vehicle, a place to work. We document what arrives, how it is used, what it becomes, and where it can, we return it. You are listed in the studio's booklet by name and by what you brought.

Three ways to give, lend, or hold.

Materials can be given outright, lent for a defined window, or held with us across years. We accept used over new where it makes sense; we publish what we receive and what becomes of it in the year-end report.

Mode 01 ・

Single contribution.

Scope: One declared need 規模: 必要物品 1件

Meet a single declared need on our current list: a tool, a quantity of material, a piece of equipment. You ship it (we cover the carrier); we tell you what we made with it.

  • Listed in the next studio's printed booklet
  • A short written account of how it was used
  • Carrier and customs handled from our side

Mode 03 ・

Standing partner.

Scope: Three years, on-island 規模: 3年〜、島内設置

Hold something with us across years: a workshop, a vehicle, a recurring supply line. The arrangement is renewable, the standing is acknowledged at every studio, and we send you our year-end findings before they are public.

  • Permanent acknowledgement on the workshop, vehicle, or tool
  • Named in every studio booklet for the term
  • Year-end findings sent ahead of publication
  • A dedicated alumna or alumnus as your liaison

From offer to documented use.

A predictable four-step rhythm. We don't surprise you, and we don't ask you to surprise us.

01
Email

You write to partners@thered.school with a short inventory of what you might offer.

02
Survey the fit

One call, forty minutes. We confirm what fits a current studio and what is best held for later.

03
Loan or gift letter

Bilingual one-pager. Carrier, dates, insurance, return terms (if any).

04
Use & record

It goes to work. We photograph it; we write what it made; returnables go back.

Questions we have already been asked.

Do you take used or imperfect items?

Yes, often by preference. The studios are built around reuse; the rougher histories tend to make better teaching.

Who insures loaned equipment?

For seasonal and standing partnerships we carry the policy ourselves through Tokio Marine, with you named as additional insured. The certificate is included with the loan letter.

Can we specify how items are used?

You can name what you'd rather not see done. We won't accept a brief that dictates outcome, but we will respect a refusal in writing.

Will you take from any company?

No. We decline support from industries that act against the maintenance of an island like this one; we are happy to say so plainly on a call.
